The US police department are trailing a new way to keep crime down in the Palm Bay area Florida, they are currently training a small number of offices to fly powered Paragliders. the police will use this method once trained as a search and rescue operations and surveillance.
The department of Palm Bay, florida has been training four offers during a six month trial of the equipment. LT Mark renkins is training on the machines and says it is much more fun than patrolling in a car.
Phil Russman, a gilder instructor, says the police could get a lot done by using the Paragliders to help in every day duties.
